Check the Travel Itinerary
On the first day, we’ll depart from Cusco or the Sacred Valley toward Soraypampa, following part of the ancient Inca Trail. Our team will prepare all the camping equipment and load the mules that will accompany us on the journey.
We’ll begin the trek to the base of the Salkantay Pass. Here, we’ll set up our first camp, where we’ll spend the night.
We’ll enjoy dinner at the foot of the imposing snow-capped mountain, with a unique view, and at night, we’ll witness an unforgettable star spectacle.
This day we will wake up early to enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the Salkantay snow-capped mountain.
Then, we will begin the hike that will take us across the Salkantay Pass, the highest point on our route.
In the afternoon, we will descend into a tropical area, where the climate will be warmer and the vegetation denser. We will spend the night in Collpapampa, where we will enjoy a wonderful dinner.
On the third day, we’ll wake up in the heart of the tropics, with a warmer and more pleasant climate.
After breakfast, we’ll continue along the ancient Inca Trail until we reach the hydroelectric power station.
From there, we’ll take the train to the town of Machu Picchu, where we’ll spend the night in a hotel, preparing to visit the Llaqta of Machu Picchu the next day.
El cuarto día nos levantaremos con tranquilidad para tomar el bus que nos llevará hasta la entrada de la Llaqta de Machu Picchu.
Realizaremos un recorrido guiado de entre 3 a 4 horas por la ciudadela inca, conociendo más sobre su historia, cultura, costumbres y el legado dejado por los Incas en esta región.
Al finalizar la visita, regresaremos en bus a Aguas Calientes para tomar el tren de retorno hacia el Valle Sagrado o Cusco y continuar así nuestra aventura en Perú.
